I'm spending enough time this year shooting high school sports that I felt it justified it's own card. The logo in the background is the local HS's official logo (used with permission).

All thoughts appreciated. Would the coupon code entice you to look at the website?

Nothing about this says high school sports. I think flying or hobby. Nice card though.

I'll elaborate a little bit, the school is home of the Bombers and I did graduate from there. It's a small town such that I know most of the parents and the nod towards using the official logo will hopefully convince them to support local business, as they usually do.

Since you explained the logo, it makes sense. If you are passing the crds out at games, the people already know what you shoot. I'm using cards that have a landscape shot and advertise my workshops BUT I modified my website for the sales of HS sport photos. The coupon code would not entice me. When people visit my site they are informed of a 10% volume discount, no need to remember codes. Through word of mouth I had another HS call me and I'm covering their Varsity Football since the dates/times do not conflict with anything the first school is doing.
Word of mouth is the best advertising and give your card to everyone you talk to at the games

Made one change at the behest of my friend, reminded me of the stuff I learned in desktop publishing class actually.

The coupon wouldnt entice me, and to be honest I think the whole thing looks messy.

Sorry, but not to my liking at all.

You don't need the http://. Put your URL below the phone number.

Phone
Email
Web

Something like that.

The offer doesn't do much for me. I guess you are trying to give 10% to the people who met you face to face. Why not just offer it to all the Bombers and let word of mouth spread about the offer.

Card makes sense now that you explained the logo.

Good luck.

I like the shadow on the business name at the top but not on the rest of the text. It makes it hard to read. I would also ditch the coupon reference or put it on the back. Why discount your work before people even see it? You would be better off to reduce the price of your shots and not have a coupon IMO.

Are you ever going to shoot for any other schools in the area? The Bombers arch-rivals, perhaps? Or are you going to limit your photography business to just one school?

It wouldn't really be feasible at the moment, due to the sheer distances involved with shooting for any other team. Their home games are the only games less than half an hour away.

The over use of drop-shadow makes the text appear blurry instead of standing out.

If it were me, and I'm no expert, I'd ditch the shadows, keep the contact details clean with no http, "web" "email" etc - people know. I would also take the discount code off the front. If you must have it, get it on the back. I would have it on the web site instead of the card or when people emailed I'd give them the "special code for contacting me" or whatever. As is, it doesn't entice me.

I'd probably also stack the contact details with the shortest on top. Or put the web and email on the bottom line with the phone above it. Would also help clear the clutter off the cool logo.
