I use Exposure Manager and like it with the exception of one thing...the colors on the prints don't match the colors on my monitor. EM colors are oversaturated.

I spoke to EM tech support and received a detailed list of things to do that may correct the problem.

What I don't understand is that the colors on my monitor are correct. When EM prints my photos their colors are oversaturated however when I use the same file (with the same settings) the prints from my personal printer are accurate and look like the colors on my monitor.

What to do?

Thanks - Wayne.

Is your monitor calibrated? If not, you need to start there. I've had very similar issues in the past with all sorts of printers...proper calibration all but eliminated them.

I have had the same problem with the colors and the brightness as well and I calibrated my monitor and it still does it. Now I am wondering if when I work on the pics if I am doing something that causes the problems.

Lone Wolf, were your problems resolved?

I assume you're referring to www.exposuremanager.com (http://www.exposuremanager.com/index.html)?

What color profile?

See that you get their profile (http://faq.exposuremanager.com/2006/01/what_is_your_ic.html), and soft proof for that. (Have a read in the link from my sig)

BTW: I don't agree with their advise an calibrating for D50. Not a lot of monitors that are capable of giving good accuracy at that setting. I'ld use D65 (6500K, gamma 2.2)
