Took my new telephoto lens out for the first time earlier. Here are the results. Some of the whites are a little blown since I was strugeling to get the exposures correct. Not used to using all this fancy gear :oops:

Well, for what it's worth, it looks like you found yourself a sharp lens. Your pictures are very nice and very sharp!

Yeah, I'm pleased. Incidentally I tried it out without the tripod yesterday. Pictures not nearly as sharp.

#1 is a little soft for my taste.
#2 is the best of the heron serie, but #3 and #4 really suffered from motion blur.
