hello - can anyone tell me a good bag to fit a canon 1D MK III with a 16-35 II L and a 100-400L, possibly with room for flash as well?
i don't want to get a huge bag....just a bag small enough to fit the above gear as i'll need it for disney world and i'll be on my feet plus with my baby on stroller too.
i'm wondering if the Slingshot 200 would fit all them? i have the 100 and the 1-4 is way too big and i'm not even sure it'll fit a 1D body.
the 300 looks way too big for me.
any help would be greatly appreciated. and not too pricey neither please

200AW would fit all that

The 100-400 is roughly the same size of the 70-200 (I have both right now) and actually, if that's all you're puting in then you could extend some pf the padding to accommodate the hood reversed. Somewhere has these for like $70 or something. it's in market watch. Good bag for that kind of thing (Disney) and what not.

200 is a little tight for my taste personally the 300 works great.

Domke F-3x should do well with that, if you can find them over there.

I have the 200 and deem it a bit too small for what you wish to carry. It also feels heavy with just one strap.

Hi Pat! It really depends on what type of bag you need. Do you want a shoulder type bag? Or do you want a backpack type bag with easy access? I assume that with your child you need something easy to carry with quick access.

hey dude - i'm not sure actually - i guess a backpack would be best coz i can put it on my back and have 2 hands to carry the baby whereas a shoulder bag will just get in the way. altho i'm kinda thinking of the crumpler pretty boy (i think - can't remember the name now) or the slingshot 200.
need to go to the camera store this weekend (jessops probably) and try a 200 and see how big the inside is. dont think they'll have the crumpler.

i've just picked up the Kata R-103 and think its a great backpack, fits my 5d with Grip and Sigma 120-300m attached (which was surprising), also plenty of space for another couple of lenses and flash etc.
may be a little big for what you are looking for but a great backpack none the less.

75AW with two side lens (4S & 5) mounts. Works like a charm.

Hi, yes they are expensive here but i bought my Domke from this ebay store based in Canada: chambrenoirecan (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Domke-F3X-Camera-Bag-F-3X-NEW_W0QQitemZ270145054730QQihZ017QQcategoryZ15201Q QcmdZViewItem)
Their only £49.99 plus p&p from them, it may take 2 - 3 weeks to arrive but well worth the wait for the saving...... Just for i'd let you know.

^haha - 3 weeks to arrive? damn!
well i went to jessops today but they had a crap selection. they did have a slingshot 200 that i picked up and measured against their lens display to get an idea of how much i can fit in. it looks much wider than my 100. dont know if it's comfortable on the back.
i'm still looking around tho and might check out the other recommendations on here

i was just being conservative with my delivery time estimate..... my bag took 2 weeks to come and a friend who ordered got his in just over a week - imho 3 wks from Canada isn't too bad, especially considering it's half the UK retail price! depends if your in a hurry though i guess....
