News about the ban please

I just read a post that the thread and poster of the "virtual oil painting" was banned. I have been away on vacation and did not know it. There are no complaints or comments, that's not what this post was about. Perhaps somebody can point me to a thread that explains and also, is the original thread still available? I had wanted to get some tutorial links from the thread, but (apparently) procrastinated just a little too long. ;)

Thanks, Pekka. Thanks for keeping the original thread intact. Although judged as marketing, there is still lots of good post-processing techniques and tutorials discussed, so the thread itself provides value. /Dan
