# 3 is fantastic.

BUT PLEASE!!!! DONT POST SUCH HUGE FILES!!!!

Even though the message board shrinks the shot to an appropriate viewing size, it STILL has to download the whole file, then minifies it. When I am on the road, I only have access to Dialup. It took FOREVER to see your shots because they took so long to load.

And there is no need to post such a large file if we are not going to see it anyway.

It is easy to do, in PS or Elements, just click "Save For Web" from the FILE menu. Look for either "New Size" or "Image Size". Type in 25% (Whole ratios interpolate much better, and 1/4th the original size makes for an appropriate size here.) Then click either Save or OK and select a name for the new, minified file. I usually just add an S (for Small) to the original shot, so, Waterfall.jpg saves as WaterfallS.jpg.

We encourage posting as much as you like, and if this is any indicator, you have a good eye, but please, give some thought to the viewer.

Are you on dial-up? The photos on this page seemed to load very fast for me. Just wondering.
For the sake of those on dial-up I try to upload files smaller than 100K, so everyone can enjoy the forum, not just the broadband users.
