What is the deal? With the same lens on the camera some pics have lots of dust and others are clear. Taken only minutes apart. Any ideas ?
Is it exposure time? Apperture?

Its all aperture. A small aperture (large number) shows your sensor dust in focus, a larger aperture (small number) shows it so far out of focus its not there.
Here is an experiment, take a photo of a blue sky or white wall at the smallest aperture your camera can handle. Open that. Prepare to be amazed.

Looks like it's time for a sensor cleaning. Either take it to the shop or learn how to do it yourself.
Please read up before attempting it yourself. Here's a good place to start.
