I have wanted to buy this lens for a while from
http://www.warehouseexpress.com/photo/lenses/sigmalens.html
my question is, will this lens be alright on the digital camera, even though it is not a digital lens?? If not, can anyone recommend another similar lens for a similar price? :)
Thanks

Becka, this lens is very sharp with film or digital. Buy it!!! I've had this lens and the Canon and I think it is as sharp as the Canon. Its only fault is slow focus but some people use manual focus on macro lenses anyway. I sold mine but I really liked it. I went to all Canon lenses but did not sell the lens because of poor performance.

cool :) So it won't do anything to the canon digital camera then? I have seen loads of pictures I have liked and discovered that it was that lens.
I was concerned because I had heard that it would only fit certain lens'.

I decided that I wanted to have all Canon brand lenses and I could afford to buy the Canon macro......Canon snobery I guess :D
