Thanks for the very kind comments everyone - much appreciated. :)

They are both focus stacked.
Was actually a bit disappointed in #2- found it on the ceiling in the house and thought it was a house spider (haven't got many shots of those) but it turned out to be an orb web spider, but it did pose nicely for a little while to make up for it :)
