Kood filters

Does anyone have any experience of Kood filters, especially the polariser ? I'm finally going to treat myself to an 'L' lens. Kood are described as budget filters although they aren't cheap. Could it turn out to be a false economy ?

I use the Kood circular polariser - it's about 1/3 the price of the Cokin P-series one and I haven't had any problems with it.
I've also got the light and dark grey grads - they are also OK, in fact they are a bit lighter than the Cokin equivalents so are almost "half-stop" alternatives.
