Here is what I started with.

First I got rid of that tan colored post behind the purple thing. Then I wanted to shift it to the right, to get it out of the center of the frame. My concern is that in keeping the 2x3 ratio, I had to lose some of the bottom of the frame. Did that take away too much of the woman's silhouette on the inferior margin of the frame?

I'm not sure I'd keep the 2x3 ratio. Think I'd crop out the pole at the right & just go where the pic takes me.
If you're using P$, select the crop tool, Hit F twice, TAB once, & see what you come up with. (ESC will get you out without cropping.)

Hate to say it, but I think this photo is way too busy to work. First off, the wall or pole on the right throws everything out of balance. And then the woman on the other side of the galss confuses my eye.

It's a cool idea messing with perspective with the clear glass and stained glass, but this is too busy. Try again. I think you could get something real cool.

Works for me too, although I might be tempted to remove that black strip on the right.

Funny thing about that black stripe. I was having crop tool problems last
night and I couldn't get the cursor all the way over to crop out that
black strip. My own opinion is it adds somethig to the image and shouldn't
be cropped.

I'll bet that, if you look at the Tool Bar settings after you click on the Crop tool, you'll find that there are numbers entered in the Height & Width fields.

Ohhhh, I played with those numbers till I was blue in the face, Photosguy.
They weren't the problem. I finally noticed on the menu bar that there
was a button called "Clear." I hit that and my crop tool returned to normal.
I must have had some rogue setting in effect for a while. It drove me
bonkers.

That used to get me, too! I didn't mention the Clear button 'cause it's right there & it's so obvious?

They were the problem! It's just that changing them doesn't take effect if you don't hit the Enter key EACH time you change one!
