The weather could have been better but the racing was good.

Hi there
I agree, blowing a gale all weekend, came back with a stinking cold. All worth it as the racing was close, especially the 600's on Saturday.
Mountainside Hairpin is very tight, it's hard to get the bikes to appear in motion even at really slow shutter speeds.
Nice shot of Martin Finnegan exiting Mere Hairpin. You get a good view from the fence there.

Thanks, did that MV sound good or what?
I got a few from the inside of Mere but I was struggling a bit with the 28/70. This is John McGuinness.

Yeh, from the fence you need to have at least 100mm to get a tight shot, however a bit of cropping might just improve the McGuinness shot, especially to remove the car in the paddock.
Lets hope the MV team keep improving and compete with Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki next year. Did you get a chance to see the Hybrid bike running, a strange looking beast.
Glad to see the prizes for the big bikes were spread around unlike last years Gold Cup where Guy one every race he entered. Much better quality of racing.
Alan
I should be ready to post some shots tonight (nearly 3000 shots to process - now down to about 900).
