I shoot raw (CRW) files on my G2 and use YarcPlus to convert them to TIF files. I then open these TIF files in Photoshop 7 for image manipulation. I have also downloaded the G2 daylight/flash ICC profile from the PopPhoto website. When opening the TIF files in Photoshop, is it correct to tag them with the PopPhoto profile? I have been wondering whether this profile might only be accurate for the JPG files from the G2 that have been tagged in the camera with the sRGB profile, or whether it would be fine also with the converted CRWs. Right now my procedure is to open the TIF, and in the "missing profile" dialog box to assign the G2 profile and then convert to working space (AdobeRGB 1988 in my case). I'd like to have a completely color managed process since I use Monaco EZColor for monitor and printer profiles. All comments appreciated.
