well I built a lightbox like the one posted by Pepperoni in the lighting forum and this was the first image where the light was right. Tell me what you think, mainly is the second transformer to blurry? or does the effect work?

A little too blurry for me. The one in front is even a little too blurry. Like the composition though.

It would be a great shot to me if the blue one was in focus some more and the yellow was sharper. Even a shot from the side would be cool too. Neat idea!!!
