Anyone know of a way to present Photographs e.g 10 x 8 or 12 x 8 etc for clients. What I mean is, after doing a portrait shoot the client wants 12 individual photographs of her kids in differant poses etc. Instead of just giving them the photos in a plastic bag etc is there any "not so pricy way" of displaying them into presentaion sleeves or mounts so it looks presented better when you are handing them over to the paying client?

I would like to present portrait photographs this way as I think it is better looking that just the bare photographs and then the client can get them framed or whatever after this. Doe anyone have any ideas on this.
Sorry for posting this in the wedding forum ,but i suspect you guys have ways of doing this when you are doing portrait work.

I'm going to subscribe to this as I am interested as well. Jennifer from Alberta who posts on this thread has fantastic presentation methods, here are a couple of the images I've seen her post elsewhere of her packaging. I'm sure she'll pop in and give us a "tutorial" or "free lesson" on what she does.

Jennifer - where do you get those beatiful black folders with the spot for your business card at? These would work well for my portraiture.

hmmm.. I have never seen ones with a spot for a business card. I will definitely look. Those boxes are to die for. Do you print the name tags yourself that go on the gift bags?

wow Jennifer. What a nice elegant touch that makes them feel special when they get it. It puts a high end look to what you're doing. Simply amazing and thank you so much for sharing all of this. I am in awe!

jennifer - I am on that website now.. where do you find the bags you use on that site? They have so many an they don't seem to have actual photos of the items. thanks

does this company deliver to the US? probably more expensive to ship here I would think. I get portraiture shoots all the time and always just give them in a big brown envelope. So ugly. You have truly inspired me. Seems you have to order in bulk on that site though... hmmmm.

At the first meeting for wedding photography services I give them a packet in a black envelope with my price list, contract, business card, and a mini wedding album (4x5 printed with Graphistudio, I have 30 of them to give out).

For prints I put them in white envelops from a paper supply store and staple an invoice to the largest envelope. For CDs and Albums I put them in gift bags with tissue paper.

resurecting an old thread, but how do you present a large photo, say an 11x14 or larger? The other ideas are great and I'm subscribing to the thread.

I agree; the presentation is superb. I like the idea a lot, and did go to the DNL site. Tap boxes may be the way for me. Thanks.

I just saw this thread. Jennifer, your packaging is awesome! Looks high end, classic yet not boring. Love it! Definitely got my creative juices flowing now as I'm about to put together the final order for two wedding clients.

Thanks!

I bought the round stickers from Quill and printed my logo on myself. Cheap and easy and they look nice. It took me a while to get the template set up but it was definitely worth it.:) The rest is from Kmart.

I always try to see if I can get it cheaper.

I like this Moto ^ A penny saved is a penny earned... Or as I would like to think of it... more money for sweets and the sweety shop :D
