I am talking about extentions which decrease focusing distance to make your usual lenses more suitable for macro photography.

I am gonna use a 58 mm m42 lenses with this set of rings:

And I'm gonna mount this thing on the rebel...

Are there any problems you can anticipate? I'm don't need high quality stuff, I just want to play around with macro.

This is by far the best, most affordable solution to "play with Macro" :)

Go for it!

There's nothing wrong with using tubes for macro, I do it myself. However, two things spring to mind here from a practicality viewpoint;

Firstly, does your lens have a manual stop-down lever? I know some M42 lenses did, but not all. The Rebel has no means of stopping down the aperture of an M42 lens.
Secondly, how are you intending to fit these onto the Rebel? As far as I can see they are M42-M42, which won't fit on the Rebel.
