I can't image shoot football without be at least ISO 1600 and shutter about 200 and then I am happy with the 2.8 aperature. Daytime football, what a dream.

If the lightpole were not there it would have had to have been composed differently IMHO. As it is, it works OK. If you clone it out, the horizon across the center of the frame would leave a bunch of unused headspace and that feeling of the top half competing with the bottom half for your attention.

nice, what time of day were these? i wish i could shoot at iso 400..

This game was an early start (6:00 pm). It was nice to shoot with ample light, most the time I am shooting ISO 3200 with a ss of 400.
