best place to buy G1 in Toronto?

I bought mine at Futureshop $1199.99.

I haven't found any other reputable stores that sell this camera, and if I am going to shell out over a $1000 for a camera, it won't be from the guy who sells Canons out of the back of his van.

It seems that the large reputable camera dealers in Toronto all advertise the G1 at the same list price of 1199.00. Try www.vistek.ca or http://www.henrys.com/ . I also recall someone posting about buying their G1 at the Pacific Mall at Kennedy and Woodbine, for a good price. There are a couple of camera stores in that Chinese mall.

I live in Vancouver, and managed to pick up a G1 last week at London Drugs for $1149.98CAD. This came with an in-store special for $50CAD off of any camera accessory. I used that for 50 bucks off of a 64M SanDisk CF card making it $119.98CAD.

Of course, don't forget to add Canadian taxes to those prices - here we pay 7% PST plus 7% GST (ouch!)

Just made them an offer.

Also got aeroplan points and get 50% off my next compact flash purchase....all they had left was 16 MB.
