Once again I made the 600K pilgrimage to Temora Aviation Museum for their flying weekend.

This time I talked ::John:: into lending me his 100-400L as he was not allowed to come out and play. Thanks mate it made a great day even better.

This time the weather was great, supposed to be only 16C and clear but turned out into quite a hot day for spring. I managed to get quite burnt during the day as well as having exposure issues as the aircraft flew close to the sun (it takes a fair few seconds for the sensor to adjust after trying to set the exposure on the sun).

Anyway onto some shots. (all with ::John::'s 100-400L)

I'll be trading her in, soon, if she keeps that up, too :)

Cool shots - that camera/lens combo is a winner, for sure. You have to be happy with those. Good of you to start the show with a Kiwi Harvard, too - thanks for that!

I see there is another show up out the back of Dubbo next weekend.

Good ones! (it takes a fair few seconds for the sensor to adjust after trying to set the exposure on the sun). Which is why some of us shoot on "M". ;)

Thanks all for looking.

mumbles - he was just cleaning up after a full dirty pass. I'll see if I've got one where everything's out.

PhotosGuy - you're right M would be the best way to shoot but in my defense I was shooting with a new body (2nd airshow) and a new lens so I wimped out shooting on TV.
