Sawwy, it happens after being married for 16 years to a measurbator.

It is funny to watch us. When I'm thinking of how to make something work it is...

If I do this, the this should happen.

When Curt thinks of the same thing it is...

ok, here are my choices:

430ex + Grip
or
580ex II

i dont really know the advantages over the other?
Help?I have a 580 and a 430 and must say I really like the 430. It's smaller, lighter, and yet still very controllable with good power. So I'd say go for option 1. You've been complaining about the size of your camera - the grip will make it feel more substantial. Happy shopping... :)

BTW, we were talking about dreams that involved fellow POTN members the other day. Well, I had another this morning. The POTN member wasn't actually in the dream, but she was mentioned.

I was at Disneyland with a few other people (I have no idea who most of them were), including my mother. We split up for a while, and next time I saw my mother, she mentioned that she had just had lunch with Permie. And that's what she called her, too. Permie. Not Lisa...

Oh, my.

I didn't know a completely dark frame could garner so much attention: (http://www.flickr.com/photos/31454864@N00/1439498640/)
I don't get it. Maybe it is because I'm blonde or maybe because I have been working to much and my brain in scrambled. But I just don't get it.
At last, something to divert attention away from my phallic cloud!!
Yeah maybe so. But this is just a repeat Pete. Pardon the pun

No idea. I guess that Ford USA purposely give you guys really bad cars for some reason. It's almost as if they want the company to shrivel up and die....
Well they are just Dumb A$$es. If they would say build that Box looking car that you posted yesterday that would compete with the Scion. They would sell tons IMO.

I'm kinda around, though should not be posting here. :)
Besides, it is not a downfall, more of an uplift. ;)

Part of this article (http://strobist.blogspot.com/2007/09/lighting-102-33-balancing-flashambient.html) on balancing flash and ambient. It was an example of what ambient exposure looks like with aperture set for proper flash exposure and max sync speed.

Why does Ford not bring some of their Europian cars to the States?
Many car makers don't bring some of their products here. Nissan has a small diesel engine they use in some of their vehicles in Europe, Australia and Japan that is not available in the same models here, and it gets great praise in reviews. It must be our general desire for large powerful vehicles, something often needed for work, but seldom needed in personal vehicles, a dilemma I am faced with right now.

Nice Pete. Cool car.

I just have one Qustion:

1. Why does Ford not bring some of their Europian cars to the States?
Because Ford USA sucks. the only decent car they're making right now is the Mustang GT. I've never been in one though.

No idea. I guess that Ford USA purposely give you guys really bad cars for some reason. It's almost as if they want the company to shrivel up and die.... I think someone secretly does want all American cars to shrivel up and die... We'll be left with Trucks only.

I don't get it. Maybe it is because I'm blonde or maybe because I have been working to much and my brain in scrambled. But I just don't get it.

Yeah maybe so. But this is just a repeat Pete. Pardon the pun

I think the van from the other day was quite a bit larger than the Scion xB. The xB is more of a car, 4-door and hatchback. BTW, the new one is HIDEOUS! I liked the original better. I think the ford van pete showed us would compete more with the other mini-vans of america. I think it would do about as well as the VW Eurovan, which isn't that well.

I think Jim nailed it. While riding around the UK this summer in a 1.9 diesel Passat I found myself wishing we had more diesel options over here in the US. The fact is, people here are more interested in power and prestige than economy and ecology. EVERY manufacturer over there has diesel or small petrol that gets insane MPG. Not so here and if they do you get the tiny little ugly cars.

The Prius has become a fad car. I think it's a good car though. It's ugly but has nice interior features in addition to the economy of it. Problem with green cars in the states is that they're a lot more expensive than the regular ones. To the point that you're not really saving any money in gas because you're just paying the price up front.

We had touched on this before that the actual environmental savings of this car are no better then the Hummer H2 according to a fellow I heard talking on the radio. He was referring to the batteries, and that how the nickel is mined in Eastern Canada, processed in Wales, made in to batteries in China, installed in cars in Japan(or wherever), then shipped around the world. The cost of producing fossil fuels is still real low as compared to fuel from alternate sources as well.

They're also a great deal more expensive to manufacture. I've forgotten exactly, but remember that the batteries have a huge carbon footprint in their manufaturing process.

A personal favorite, this one takes a certain amount of arrogance, as well as delusion, to pull off.

not really but I think she would have laughed if I had. Instead I made disparaging comments about red-heads and got stopped/harassed by the cops. Somehow it all worked out! :)
