sometimes when shooting in raw, whites or highlights bloom too much with the powershot s50. Is this a characteristic with this camera. I have photoshop cs but not sure how to tone down the whites (newbe). Any suggestions?

Is it over-exposure? I have taken a few shots with S50 (RAW and JPEG) but don't find anything wrong with the RAW.

Will that cam show you a histogram after you take a pic? The best way to fix an exposure problem is while you're shooting.
