Hi, Croft is probably your local track, here's a link, there's a few POTNers usually there (me included), might see you there oneday !

There's a 2 day meeting at Croft this Saturday & Sunday. Plenty to point the camera at and the added bonus that the muppets with deck-chairs & tents wont be there :)

Hello Ste. I'm another from your part of the world (Ingleby Toytown ), and like Geoff says, Croft this weekend would be a good bet. The Northern Sports & Saloon Car Championship has two races this weekend, and they will be worth the entrance fee alone. Throw in the Formula Palmer Audi and Monopostos, and you have the basis of a very good weekend.

Let us know if you're heading up. I'll be there Saturday and Sunday.

Cheers,

Simon.

Ste

Pity you hadn't posted last week. Just come back from a weekend of motorbike racing at Scarborough. They hold a few rounds of the Duke Road Race championship at Olivers Mount. Check out http://www.auto66.com at the start of next year for the 2008 fixtures. Also check out http://www.oliversmount.com to see some action from previous races there.
I know you don't want to here this now but keep it in mind for next year as there is always some close racing and you get close to the action.

Will be posting some of my photos towards the end of the week.

The Northern Saloon and Sports Car Championship should provide plenty of action as these are the last 2 rounds and a number of drivers could clinch the title.
The Legends are also supposed to be at Croft at the weekend but the entries were only showing as 3 earlier in the week. Hopefully there will be a few more as they always provide plenty of entertainment;)

Hopefully the Legends will be running. However last I heard (from a DDMC member) was that they wouldn't be
