For some reason, I had a terrible day of shooting the other day while trying to shoot the skyline at sunset. This is one shot I tried resurrecting.

You tell me, what do you think of this shot?

Yeah, good stuff. I would probably crop to move the buildings a little closer to the top. The water line is just a little too centered giving it that "snapshottish" feel.

I agree with this. Too much water = to much dead space in these types of pics.;)

i like them both. then again im partial to sunset/night time photography.

They look really dark on my monitor. The crops really help.

I agree that it's maybe a little dark-a lot of detail missing on the buildings, but that might not be so important. how about a 16:9 and keep the whole skyline?

I'm not as concerned about the detail in the building. I think the sky is too dark. Probably about 5 minutes too late. It's very close though.

just thinking that the parts of the building that are completely blown might not look great in print, but it's hard to tell at this size and maybe it's not being printed anyway.
