5d MKII Price?

Hello,
all this talk of the new 5D MkII has got me thinking... I am currently SERIOUSLY thinking about getting a 5D, but will hang on if the price of the 5D MKII is not much different. Over here in the Uk the body is about 1500 ukpounds. Anyone any clues or willing to guess as to how much the 5D MKII will retail at?

Canon's pattern of late has been to make the successor slightly less expensive while adding features. That's not to say it happens in all cases (1D MKIII, for example) but that was the pattern for the 30D and the 40D.

But I think the replacement for the 5D is at least 6 months from now.

Also, the £1500 price tag is the current market price. At launch I believe the 5D was closer to £2000.
