First one works, the second and third are not as strong. I think it is the blown highlights that distract.

Please provide information such as what you were trying to shoot and why. Then we can give a better C&C.

I really like the first one, and I think the second one works fairly well as an abstract, but I can't really get behind the third one. I think what I like the most about the first one is the soft texture of the wheel and writing on the wheel, and then the very smooth and undistracting background. Even the angle where the ceiling comes in doesn't distract me.

the first one is of a wheel, obviously. its hard to describe. it was in a parking garage and it was a valve for something, im not quite sure. it is my favorite out of the bunch, mainly for the reasons that "babyduckmonger" said.

the second and third one is of a chain on a lock to a portable storage unit out in a field.

for the second one i edited with the purpose of brining out the colors of the unit and the rust. on the third one i tried to contrast between light and dark, light on the topside and dark underneath.

The first one does nothing for me. And I figured some would have issues with the blown highlights, but for me, that's what makes it. It's very postarized. Like the color better than the BW.
