I''m impressed how sharp it came out!
nice composition for a such short time, but you say that you used 200mm? how far were you? just wondering if a relatively medium range lens could take a such pict

Those are quite, ahem, defining curves back there. I think that you did a pretty good job of catching the moment.
Welcome to the forum btw.

The focus looks tighter on the shoulder than it does on her face.
Nice Idea though!

She wasn't too far out. That shiny stuff in front of the foam is sand.
Nice shot. I agree with meerkat, but also realize it's easier said than done
getting proper focus on a moving subject. My focusing is driving me nuts.

Apart from that I can really find no other flaw. This is commercial stuff. 8)

Can you get the Focal distance from the exif data please? I just got sigma 70-200 and I wanna know what it's like.

Doc,
I use the Canon File Viewer Utility to extract my images from the card to the computer. I have always gotten wacky results on the focal length when I check the exif data in Photoshop Elements. The data for most of the shots in this group came out at 456.0 mm. Perhaps someone can give a hint at what I'm doing wrong. I would guess that I had the Lens at the full 200 mm for this shot since I was trying to get as tight as possible.
I have been very happy with this lens. Regards.

The data for most of the shots in this group came out at 456.0 mm.
This is common with the Sigma 70-200EX. I just had mine serviced for a focusing issue. When it came back the focal length is now correct in the exif data.
