I was thinking the other day, and realized a lens bag or the such that could be attached to a belt to wear would be really conveinent when walking around... anyone know of a place where I could find something like this?

I put the lens bag that came with either my 70-200 2.8L or my 100-400 4.5-5.6L on my belt. It has a belt loop for the purpose. It does help take some of the weight off my shoulder. I've thought about getting a belt system so I can clip several bags on it and take the whole belt off at one time when I get back to the car. The problem with the belt system is by the time you buy the belt and then several attachments, the price is getting up there.

They come with the "L" lenses I have bought. In fact, even one of my Sigma's came with one.

If you want the pricy stuff, Kinesis Gear (www.kinesisgear.com) has a fully customizable belt system. They have several different belts for virtually any body type. They also offer camera and holster cases, as well as lens pouches, that attach to the belt. This page (http://kinesisgear.com/sugsys35.html) has a number of sample belt configurations.
I have a C382 holster case. It can accomodate a 10D with either a 28-135 or 17-40 attached. A 550EX fits in the front pocket. It has two unpadded side pouches which are intended for less delicate items, though I have carried a 50/1.8 in one with no problems.
I have no other affilation with Kinesis Gear.
