It's interesting how much we miss when we take the picture - just to notice it when we download them to the computer.
I thought I took a picture of a butterfly feeding on a flower. In looking at it closely on the computer, I noticed the spider lega wrapped around the obviously dead butterfly.
If I'd had known that when I took the picture, I would have went around to the other side!

Excellent pic...a pity you missed seeing the spider. It is quite often that one only sees something once it is on the computer.

I think most of us have got that tee shirt... :D
Nice capture though. The hidden spider give it a sinister air...

What an absolute pity you missed that. There would be all sorts of pics in the offing as the spider finished it off. Bad luck!
Oh == a good capture of the "butterfly feeding". Interesting little flowers. Do you know what they are?

looks to have fallen prey to a Crab Spider - they seem to be the major hazard of nectar feeding insects.

Thanks for the ID on the spider. As to the flower, I do not know what kind it is.
