I have tried various camera shops in the Iowa and Minnesota region and none carry Eclipse, which, CMIIW, is methanol. BH carries it but doesn't ship it. Is there someone online who does?

I am preparing to clean my 10D's sensor. Does anyone think dry ethanol (99%) would work as well as methanol?

I have dry ethanol, but I am not going to use it unless somebody already has, and hasn't wrecked their camera. I suspect, however, that dry ethanol would work as well, because ethanol and methanol have similar properties, with ethanol just being a little heavier.

Thanks

Probably you already read the information on this site (http://www.pbase.com/copperhill/ccd_cleaning) about sensor cleaning. Page 7 has links to stores that sell Eclipse:

Thanks guys, for the heads-up on adorama. I have now ordered it.

I thought BH owns adorama. Odd that they have different shipping policies. Speaking of shipping. I thought $8.00 shipping charge on a $7 item was a bit high. Maybe because it's flammable?

B&H does not own Adorama...from what I understand, the owners of the two stores are related.

FYI: Glazers in Seattle will ship Eclipse in the continental US.
