I am not a web programmer but have created my website using a hosting company and their website builder tools. Please give me some feedback as I am debating hiring someone to do one for me if this one does not look professional enough. Also some feedback on the name of Legend Photography would be appreciated. I had a hard time finding a name that I could match up with a domain. I have also thought about using my name of Tyson Egbert Photography. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Looks good, Tyson. Easy to navigate, but the thumbnails on the Arts pages seem to load a bit slow. It might be better to use several pages for each category. The site makes it easy for anyone looking for pricing. Do you also have the ability to create password-protected directories for clients to view and purchase proofs? That would probably be a good idea. You could use different directories, one specific for bride and groom, and another for their guests that they share a seperate password with. (Sorry, you weren't asking about that.)

Regarding the name, it's good, easy to remember. It would be better if it conveyed some significance. Like the name of your town or something. If it doesn't, I'd prefer TysonEgbertPhotography.com because .com is for commercial, and that domain is available. People may remember legendphotography and forget the .net part. Then they'll go to that guy in La Grange, IL. They also may confuse it with legendsphotography.

Hope something here helps. Either way, good luck with it, and a belated welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the welcome and the feedback. I am working on getting something set up through Zenfolio for proofs. The guest thing is a great idea though. I like the .com thing better as well. Although, I can see it being just as difficult for people to remember how to spell my name. I really appreciate your help.

Hmmm. Good point on the name. You'd probably want to get TysonEggbertPhotography.com as well. TysonPhotgraphy.com is still available. Does the name Legend mean anything to you or your clients?

The legend name doesn't mean anything but I have used it for a while. It was all I could come up with that I didn't have to go to .xyz or something. Website names are getting harder and harder to find. I will just have to keep thinking.

I have re-done some things. Please give me some feedback as to what you think.

Thanks

Very nice website. Easy to navigate, but some pages have too many pictures at once.
I also think that the telephone number and email address should not be on the home page, but it is enough to have them under contact us.

just a few points how I'd do it, but by no means what you've done is bad, still works
