I agree with Nancy. A stunning series of photos, every one a magazine cover quality shot. I'm jealous. :)

Thanks everyone, it is certainly appreciated. As to the random thing I spend a lot of my free time wandering around the Pacific Northwest (US and Canada) chasing wildlife shots. About 23,000 miles just this last year, more the previous year.

I often have series of images like the Cormorant eating the Cabezone or others but I find unless they tell a story I would rather share multiple species from the last couple weeks of wandering than several images of the bird tossing the fish around to swallow it.

And any of you could do it too if your responsibilities were a couple cats, a fiancee who likes to chase wildlife and at least 3 free days a week to go hide in the bushes.

Excellent series and every image works for me...Love the fish in the first Cormorant image and the dark green water around its neck.

That's a lot of traveling... but you have some great (no... FANTASTIC) results... Talk about being in the right place at the right time... Great shots of birds with their prey. I guess if you spend 3 days a week in the wild, you'll eventually come upon some amazing sights. Thanks for sharing
