From the spec., it's small and lightweighted...

The biggest downside.......it only works for DSLR with a 1.6 crop factor.

Because of th kit lens i got with the 300D i havnt been reluctant to buy a better wide angle lens, such as the 17-40...this may be one i'll have to take a look at though.
