I was hoping someone could help me or point me in the right direction with my SD550 crash. We were in a humid part of Mexico if that matters and our wonderful camera stopped working. After a full battery recharge when I power up, the LCD screen shows the "Setting Date/Time" only, as when it was new. No matter what button I push, nothing happens,...it is just as dead as when the harddrive on a computer crashes. When I try to select a shooting mode, the screen goes black. Any help/advice would be SO appreciated, it was such a great camera. Thank you
