I was at a industrial area and there were many piles of wooden platforms. For some reason there were always some that wanted to stand out in the crowd.

Yea. I like them. good job. number one looks like it has just a bit too much red in. pull a little out maybe.
just my thought.

Nice patterns, Allu. I like more #1, looks like there is warm afternoon light creating the reddish look. Selective coloring in #2 looks a bit too much artificial to my taste.
Very nice first posts, keep them coming :)

Good eye! #1 it is for me as well - here one can see that it really is of a different color. I don't think there is a need to apply the selective coloring technique with a subject that is naturally selectively colored :)

neat. compositionally I like the first one better. I didn't even think the second one was selectively coloured. You can see some of the colour in the other skids. just really selective selective colouring?

Now I see the sun-burned faint shades of yellow, making the second much more interesting.

Thank you for the comments!:D Even I had to take a new look at my picture and view them in a different way.
Selective coloring, infact, was not used in the second one (neither first)at all. For some reason usually these platform piles consisted of multiple sun-burned platforms and one or two bright blue ones.
In these pics I did try to find two different moods and am quiet happy with it.
