So i recently discovered that you can upload photos to google maps and it will create a marker on the spot where you took it. Some cameras have built in GPS in them so that makes it a lot easier but my Canon Rebel XT doesn't so I'll have to do it manually.
i was thinking about going all around my local town(Well Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) and photograph the downtown area. It's pretty popular and busy on the weekend nights, so I'll do it during the day. Then I realized that there is already a bunch of photographs already. Thing is, i was going to do either a 180, 270, or 360° pano of each spot that I shoot at.
So.. questions...
Should I shoot in the already heavy populared with photos/snapshots of downtown OKC, or shoot in my actual city I live in, which is Midwest city. Midwest City isn't that big or busy, but I think it'd be neat just to do. If things go well, and I don't have any problems with people bugging me, I'll go ahead and do downtown. I wish better photos got more priority on the maps though.
Any tips or suggestions?
