These were shot as practice for a wedding in a couple of weeks. I am typically very fond of natural light and shadows, but I realize that I will need more traditional 'fill-flash' shots for this wedding...so, let me know how I'm doing with that...what should I be doing differently. Do keep in mind that these are only with the 10D pop-up flash. My 420EX hasn't arrived yet... So, any suggestions for things that I should/could do differently with the 420 would also be appreciated. These were posted in another thread, but not for critique...rather to show one of the lenses.

Try a gold reflector with light complected people to add warmth. I am experimenting with bouncing my fill off a gold reflector. If I don't need too much fill, the results are good. :)

Nice idea.... what about playing with the white balance as another way to get the warmer tones on the skin?
Any benefits to having the white bal. correct in camera as opposed to doing it to the RAW file in post?

I haven't tried it but anything you do that keeps you from having to buy something new or prevents extra work later is a good idea. I like to experiment with stuff like that. I might try it.
