Good night photo. I like it.
What was the ISO setting? What White Balance setting?

Thanks for the comments folks.
The ISO was 50 and the WB was auto. I shoot exclusively in RAW mode but in this case there was no change to the exposure, WB, or ISO after the fact. No PS editing other than a slight crop. Image was sharpened with SharpControl. I believe I was in manual mode and set the shot up for normal exposure (no over/under exposure).

Wesley,
The Halifax ferry is nice, but I think your photo of Murphy's Restaurant from your photo website connection is the best of the 3 night shots in that folder.
Just my personal opinion.

Thank you, Sailor Don, for both visiting my site and for commenting on one of my images. I too am becoming partial to the Murphy's Restaurant image.

Do you mean the Murphy's Restaurant or the Halifax Ferry image, Penguin? Thanks for the comment and the visit to my site.

Wesley,
I think it would be interesting to set up a "night shot" poll. Compare your Halifax Ferry shot to your Murphy's Restaurant shot. I think there is a "poll" option that you can add to a topic.
It's a tough call since both pics are really good. The trawler tied up at the dock in the Murphy's Restaurant photo really makes that picture come alive with the "picture story" of a good night's rest in a safe harbor after a hard day's work out on the bay. Excellent composition.

Thank you, Sailor Don. I think I may do that.

Out of all three I like the ferry best and then the restaurant. They are all good picures!
