Whats this shadow?

I've got a "shadow" on a lot of photos since i started using my flash off-camera. Is it a flash issue or something else?

Shutter speed too fast

What camera, and lighting set-up are you using, and how are you triggering it?

Sigma EF 500 DG

It looks like all the photos with a shutterspeed of 1/200 sec have the shadow =(

Triggering flash with wirelessly

try going down to 1/160 or 1/125

Mounted on the hot-shoe, you should find it will be fine with the sync speed stated - if not you may have a problem.

I also experience this with studio lighting, and it is made worse when triggering with my cheap Ebay radio trigger.

Nothing to worry about, its normal.

Just take a few test shots at some lower shutter speeds, and find the best / fastest you can use.
