resize for the p-3000

i want to keep a few albums of photos on my p-3000 to show friends and family while I am over in Europe and I noticed that when I converted the RAWs to JPGs the image became slightly choppy when zoomed out. At 50% it looks fine, but I am wondering if anyone has any experience with this, or if I need to just reduce them to 640x480...

I just load them and no problem at all at any resolution? Check, what exact settings do you use when you convert the RAW to JPG... What do you use? Also, perhaps the ratio, try 6x4 or something like that?
