I am having trouble printing "True Black" on my new i9950.
I have tried setting the printer to Greyscale and also just leaving it on colour.
Neither print a true black.
It appears that colours are being use to print the black.
I am using Canon Pro Paper.
Am I doing something wrong???
Is anyone else having this problem?
Can anyone offer advice?
Regards,
Nev. :?:

In case you are using Mac you can try printing through iPhoto after processing.
Good luck

Thanks for the replies.
Sorry Deeply I am using a PC.
John that is a great link thank you, however it still uses colours.
Surely there is a way to turn off the colours and only print with black ink.
I was always taught that white contained all colours and black was the absence of colour!
There must be a way to stop the colour cartridges coming into play.
Surely some printing guru has an idea.
