i bought a sandisk 2.0 CF reader and it died in a couple of weeks. i noticed that a few times before it's untimely demise that i would have to reinsert the card again to get it to work.
the clue was i didn't have a half dozen things popping up my screen when i inserted the CF card the first time :D.
one thing i didn't like about the card reader from the get go was you were forced to use a cable because the connector on the reader was not USB. i usually do use a cord but sometimes when i'm outta town with my laptop i don't.
call this an obituary or a mini-review...but i was not impressed with this reader.
i did order a sandisk extreme III reader for the extreme III cards that are en route and it's my hope that it will be different this time :D.
