Canon markets similar models under different names in europe and the U.S. Does anyone know what the similar model to IXUS 950 IS sold in europe are called in the States :rolleyes:?

The Digital IXUS 950 IS is the same as the SD850 IS

This is off topic, but why does Canon use different names outside of North America?
