I am going to start a protography project consisting of indoor portraits using studio lighting. The results I've had so far are okay, but nowhere near what I was trying to achieve. I just need to learn how to use equipment better and become familiar w/ different kinds of lights.

Does anyone here know of any good books that explain the technical side of these things, such as strobes, soft boxes, gels, reflectors, umbrellas, etc?

Also, last month I was hired to do a wedding and I had really wished I had been more prepared. Are there any books that cover the equipment involved in wedding photography? I'd like to get more jobs doing this, but I need to learn the ropes first.

I'm an artist and struggle a lot w/ making exposues that are up to my standards. Thanks in advance!

Here is a thread from the eos forum. Second post suggests a book that I'll personally be looking into.
