Depth of Field distance?

I was pondering something last night and couldn't find a answer so I came to the one place I know I will get one!! Is there a chart or quation to depth of field? Something like @50.0 mm f2.8 the DOF will be X.XX inches? If there was a place to get this info it would eliminate taking extra pictures to make sure it's how I want it!!
