Hi there,

I am new to this forum, so this is my first post.

Please be gentle with me.

These are the first results of my new Canon Digital Camera

On the second image her back is a litle overexposed, but somehow it does not realy disturb me.

What do you think?

Hope you like the pictures.

Kind regards,

Those are pretty nice. :D I think the second one is the better one of the two.

I like the lighting and especially the look of the candid. the second shot could be better if the shoulders were alligned (I think).
lovely

I like them both but I think that the first one is the winner. Great shots.

And, of course, welcome to the forum!

How come I didn't get a smokin hot model with the purchase of my camera...

Great Pics, I love the Desaturated look with a hint of color, very nice work. And you model looks like a natural.

you got the digital rebel?? or another digital canon
cause if you got the 300d then you must have bought the 50mm 1.8 to get a DOF like that on the 1st one

cough it up, what did you use?

I like the first one the best. Really nice shot. :)

It was shot at F2.8, 1/125 at ISO 100 on a Digital Rebel. Lens I'm guessing is 50mm cause the focal length says 52mm.

I like both pics :).

i favour the first one, overexposed background of second one doesn't really do much damage to the whole image

Hi there,

Mikes Jo is almost rigtht.

I took this image with my SIGMA 24-70 f/2.8 EX ASF.

The settings indeed f/2.8 at 50 MM

ISO value 100

Jean-Paul,

Good photos. I don't know if you were trying for the neutral color effect, but I personally miss the blue sky and green of the plants, trees, or whatever in the background.

Nice model. :)

great pictures!
I like the soft color you have used. In the 2nd, I think that it had been better if she had lowered a little her hips, and the exposition bothers a little to me.

Gokulananda
