Problem with Powershot S2 IS.

i can only view my pictures and take pictures through the view screen so i have to hold my eye up to the camera to take and view my pictures, the lcd monitor is black, how do i get my images to show on it? I need to know how to fix this soon because I'm going to a concert this week! thanks :D

If there is no malfunction, when you press de DISP. button repeatedly, the camera cycles through several display modes:

LCD Monitor Display (No Information)
LCD Monitor Display (Information View)
Vewfinder Display (No Information)
Vewfinder Display (Information View)

If you press DISP. one more time, the cycle starts again.
