cs2 and raw

hi, no doubt this has been asked many times but may i ask once more as i'm new here. i have cs2 and the raw convertor is 3.1 but i cannot get cs2 or bridge to open any cr2 files from my 30d all i get is the message - could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document- as far as i'm aware 3.1 should open eos 30d files but i may be wrong, i;m guessing that either theres a simple fix or i;m even more idiotic than my wife thinks i am- thanks

yes, the update worked, being under the impression 3.1 worked was my idiotic problem. 3.7 now installed, so my wife was right. many thanks
