Saw these kids skating the other day as i was getting off work. Asked him if it would be ok to grab a few shots and he got excited. He kept busting trick after trick. Suprisingly no crash and burn shots although he did show me his elbow that had been broken a few weeks before. Anyways this was my first time shooting this stuff and the shadows and lighting was challenging. Let me kmow what you think.

most of my pictures lose there life when i post them and shrink them down. Whats the best way to post images? I see some here that you have to scroll left and right to view them. What am i doing wrong? Thanks!!

Post the exif on the shots and what editing programs you are using. From there you will get alot of help.

In Photoshop, just use " Save For Web" Be sure and convert to SRGB colorspace if you aren't already there. Size them for 800px on the longest side and they should come out fine. EXIF data is the meta data imbeded in the photo. It shows all the settings of the camera for the shot.

K tried it that way( Save for web) but instead of 800 had to go down to 535 to meet the 100 kb limit.see how this one comes out.

1st is too late, 2nd is too early and not all the stairs nor the landing are showing. rule #1 of skateboarding photography is you have to be able to see where he's coming from and where he's going.
