Damn, I walked into work today expecting to take some photos of work the studio has done (graphic design firm) and I took some pictures of white card to set my WB. Lo and behold, every photo I took (of white walls / cards) had a gradient fading from pink to blue going from top to bottom of the frame.

Upon further testing I worked out that this was happening at ISO 800-3200 (I have the hack) It gets progressively worse, especially at 1600 & 3200.

I recall seeing this happen to Nikon D70s or 10Ds. Can someone please help me out with reference to posts that document this anomolie or help with what to do before I start crying and send my camera in to service?

Sadly awaiting your replies.. :(

I have just started experiencing the same problem with my D60. I have tried different lenses, different cards, removing batteries, resetting the settings without any success.

Were you able to solve this banding problem Jemook?

You did not state which image size you are shooting. I would expect a completely different amount of banding in RAW versus small JPEG.
