A top racing weekend, thanks to Dave_G and Wazza!

Had a couple of superb days, weather was spot on, company was "canny" and obligatory "few drinks" the night before each day was pleasantly Guinness fueled! hehe

I've glanced through my 1475 pics and pulled out some "keepers", will probably go through them again later this week and tart them up with a bit of PP.

Usual kit employed, 350D, Sigma 100-300f4 + 1.4x TC and Canon 70-200f4, let me know what you think..

Andy Priaulx on his way into Druids.

James Thompson "on it" thru Sheene..

Arty pharty nonsense, I believe it was caused by heat stroke and slight delusions of gradieur!

Someone, somewhere ... **over the rainbow**.. (possibly Felix "the housecat" Porteiro into Stirlings)

Fluke of the weekend, 1/25th sec pan! LOL

GT Open racing was close, loud and fun to watch!

Big flaming Porkers were order of the day in the other support races..

Nice flame, shame about the fence..

Like the photos dude , considering the kit is not world class im impressed..

what filter are you using ? or is that just natural light flare on the number 6 Ferarri ?

got near enough the same picture of the number 95 Porsche but without the fence , took me ages to get it because every time it came round i was so excited with the possible picture i could get i panned like a nonce! ha ha

Cheers Jim, I like that one too.. maybe the "interesting" way he is taking the curb? lol

Just goes to show that you don't need to spend big to get good results, i've had my 350D for a 18months now, and the 100-300 and 70-200 for about a year.. i'm considering an body upgrade (40D) in the new year, but the optics are likely to remain the same for at least another year.. i'm particularly impressed with the 100-300.. :D

It's au natural! hehe

Hahaha, it was getting late on in the final race when I noticed him flaming out on upchange, but couldn't get my positioning or timing right for anything really juicy.. :(

A very nice shot of JT's Alfalfa and the GT Ferrari's a corker too :)

Nice to meet a fellow North-Eastener amidst a sea of Southern Jellied-Eel munchers and random New Zealanders :)

As I've said before, great to meet you. The duo were hilarious.
Great work, the 2nd and 3rd are my favourites. The weakest? probably the 4th, seems you got the background sharp :D

Now where are the 1D shots you took? I'm interested :)

You first pic of "Andy Priaulx on his way into Druids" is top drawer for me, bang on the money

Cheers Allen, I was with Dave most of the day, but can't remember meeting you? We're you on the correct side of the fence perchance? ;)
